As a Magistrate, I have the honor of working closely with those committed to serving our community. I’ve seen the challenges we face and the opportunities ahead. That is why I am proud to support Willie Oden for Sheriff of Hardin County.
Willie brings a fresh perspective rooted in decades of real experience—serving our country honorably and continuing to serve our community with humility and heart. After 31 1⁄2 years in Military, serving the majority of his time as Military Police, along with six deployments including combat tours, he understands that strong law enforcement isn’t just about responding to problems, but working with residents to prevent them. His leadership style is respectful, collaborative, and people-focused.
Sometimes, embracing positive change is exactly what helps a community grow stronger. Willie believes in improving what works and thoughtfully addressing what needs to be better. He wants every citizen to feel heard, respected, and protected—no matter where they live in our county.
